Faux fur jackets, combined with turtlenecks and scarves, are the best weapons against this very cold winter ! Today I am fathering a jacket borrowed from a friend. It is from Zara in Barcelona. I love the thick furry texture. It was very insulating and cozy-warm.
I wore it with simple skinnies and black buckled booties for warmth and comfort. Faux fur jackets are fun to wear, so luxurious in feel, and so lightweight.
WE SAW TEMPS THIS WEEK, OF NEAR 20 DEGREES BELOW 0, WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE NEAR HURRICANE LEVEL WINDS. STAYING WARM WAS SERIOUS BUSINESS. FAUX FUR JACKETS CAN BE A GREAT TOPPER FOR THIS SORT OF EXTREME COLD.
Don’t forget your sunnies when it is bright outside or snowy. Also keep your skin and lips well hydrated. I used a Bobbi Brown Lipstick that I love, featured and linked in my polypore post. It is hydrating and great for cold weather .
