Wearing a wool camel coat and not fading into the landscape requires some good accessories. As the flurries fell, I stayed warm with cozy and colorful accesories. Heavily layered, I welcomed the chill and the first snowflakes of the season.
Good accessories I have! My multi colored blanket scarf was just as warm as its namesake. It is a bit bulky, but perfect for seriously cold days. Both the feel of the scarf and the colors are soft . My Russian styled hat also kept me warm. It is by Roxy and I got it last year.
I love coats and have an impressive collection. When your taste and size is consistent, and you shop for decades, you will find a plethora of warm coats for every occasion , at home in your closet(s). I love the way a coat can dress up a pair of denim skinnies, or dress down (or change- up) a cocktail dress.
A good wool camel coat is the very best choice for my taste and my lifestyle.
I added a snake bangle that I picked up at Broadway market , downtown near TopShop. The glint of jewels at my wrist added a nice flash, in lieu of abundant sunlight.
My bag was from my sister’s closet, a hand me down, as it were. Yay! I do not know the brand, it only has an initial and an image of a map, but I love it, it is light and large enough to carry a laptop, which I did that day.
The city is dressed up for the holidays. I do not have many photos , but more will be forthcoming. However, I love this photo, it is a ceiling from a diner downtown! Bet you would not have guessed that!

Indoors my outfit looks different, the hues a shade warmer. I love standing next to a vase of 36 inch roses in perfect crimson red! My wool camel coat looks like a plain canvas for all of the color around me!
