Greetings from NYC! I caught a sunny day and am wearing a bell sleeve blouse, finished with macramé trim, and a striped full skirt with pockets! (made for Saks Fifth Avenue, bought new at Encore)
This was a cinch to style. The drama of the bell sleeve blouse called for a simple silhouette and a piece with a subtle complementary punch. I choose my A-line, full skirt made for Saks Fifth Avenue, but purchased new at Encore, Madison Avenue.
I added some laser-cut boots to keep the element of pattern going, and a CHANEL messenger bag. The golden chain strap of the bag negated the need to wear a necklace.
ABOVE, THE SUN CAUGHT THE VIVD PINK SILK JUST THE RIGHT WAY.
Roses, and ribbons, and rhinestones, OH MY! Below the open back booties from behind.
Don’t turn your back on me! Okay, well…if you do, this is what you will see. All of the pretty details. Sometimes things look best backward!
ARE THESE IMAGES TOO SMALL? MOST OF MY PHOTOS ARE TOO BIG, SO I EDITED THEM TO BE SMALLER THIS TIME. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
BIGGER OR SMALLER?
HAVE YOU HOPPED ON THIS TREND? IT IS A HARD ONE TO PASS UP, THE SIMPLE AND GRACEFUL BELL OF THE SLEEVE. SO LONG AS IT IS NOT SO LONG THAT IT ENDS UP SKIMMING THE TOMATO-RED BASE OF YOUR SOUP – RIGHT? EEK!
—HAPPY MID-WEEK!!!!!—
