The Bell Curve

Set against the brick exterior of my sister’s house, I  am wearing her dress in autumnal colors of similar shades of brick, warmed by tones of green and amber.

I am also wearing her fabulous  textured boots. How prescient these purchases were. She bought both items in 2010, and both styles are so on trend today. Thanks Twin! Here is a shot of the boots indoors.

The bell sleeve dress is fun and somewhat dramatic , watch what happens when you hail a cab or point to a destination. Cool! Not so cool when eating though,- there are better ways to be saucy.

But I am inside now and no food products are in the offing.

From shopstyle.com are 3 of their best selling dresses with bell sleeves:

From Eragem.com is a selection of cocktail rings I love. Wishlist, anyone? Prices and detail in link.

Also from Shopstyle.com is a selection of tweed and patterned boots, My top five:

So ladies, what do you think? A fan of the bell sleeved dress, yes or no?  Please tell me in the comment section. I am also curious with the holidays on the way… What is on your wishlist?

  1. I think this looks great on you and pulled it off so well and those boots are so fun! I think the eating part would drive me nuts and keep me from buying anything bell sleeve.

Hope to see your Thursday for TBT Fashion link up.

  2. Elle, I see taste is in your family! I love both the dress and for sure the wonderful boots of your sister, too! Now I’m only wondering if there really a styling gene exits – if yes, you both own it for sure <3xx from Bavaria/Germany, Rena http://www.dressedwithsoul.com

  3. Love the new name and blog. Gorgeous dress, I would wear it too, love the colors, the boots are super fun! I am wishing for a tuape pair of boots that don’t have a high heel. Not easy! Beautiful as usualXo jesswww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
