Happy mid week Loves. Today I am wearing a pleated skirt and am talking a bit about the pleated skirt trend. I will also introduce to you the company that made my skirt as I love to share emerging talent and support small businesses.
You have seem me in pleated skirts for quite a while now, so it is apparent I love them. I am so glad this is a trend as these skirts add volume and drama. They are easy to wear casually, just pair with sneakers and add a tee or crop top for summer. My faves are in metallic, but I do adore this kaleidoscopic print by Glancez.
To dress it up you can do what I did. Wear a bell-sleeve blouse in silk, or a beautifully embroidered tee or sweater. Add a necklace to give it your own special touch. A choker is a popular choice, but I am wearring a costume necklace along the lines of Chanel. Hubby took these photos, below is his favorite.
You can add a sweater and boots and wear this skirt your-round, too, as it is a very practical wardrobe piece!
