Labor day is a precious bit of time for me. Summer fun comes to a close, but family is gathered for the last warm days. I treasure this holiday for this sweet family time.
THIS POST WILL BE SHORT FOR THAT REASON. JUST A SPRINKLING OF CANDIDS OF SOME TIME AWAY FROM THE CITY, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BELOW PICTURE THAT WAS TAKEN IN THE CITY, RIGHT BEFORE I LEFT FOR THE WEEKEND. NOTHING GLAMOROUS OR SPECIAL. JUST ME BEING ME AND TRYING TO LOOK TALLER, TOO. LOL!
SUNSETS IN THE HAMPTONS ARE MAGICAL. THE LIGHT, BOTH THE INTENSITY, AND THE SHEER MAGNITUDE OF ITS REACH IS HEAVENLY AND SOMETHING I WILL NEVER TIRE OF.
The house is still pretty well stocked, even as we leave tomorrow and do not come back until after Fashion Week.
A TYPICAL DINNER IS LOBSTER ROLL PICKED UP FROM THE SAG HARBOR WHARF, A SALAD OF LOCAL GREENS, AND A DELISH BOTTLE OF ROSÈ.
