Candid summer style photos are not my best, but they are fun to share. I think they reveal a bit about my personality. I hope you can feel the happy summer vibe! All of these shots were taken my wonderful hubby of 34 years. Thanks Hubby !
Above I am dressed casually, and we are on the way out for a late weekend brunch. My shoes are super comfortable and despite the terrible headlines I am feeling light. Trying to, anyway. Smile and it will come?
We are enjoying the summer so far. The weather has been wonky and has a tropical pattern which is quite strange for New York. I know many of us are experiencing this. Below we find a wonderful place to dine on the way from East Hampton . It is called Trumpets on the Bay and this meal, delicious and lovely on the water, was the highlight of our weekend.
So far all of these candid summer style photos are outdoors. Why not, it is summer! My favorite shot however, is at a new and nearby arcade complex near us in the East Hampton. This cool new place, called the Clubhouse, offers bowling, arcade games, indoor and outdoor dining, and host of other activities for families.
My 60th is coming up and I am hoping my family can go here for my birthday ! I want to win a stuffed owl ! I am really a child at heart! Vroom, below I am pretending to driving this neon car!
Many of my blog photographs are candid, and sometimes taken by strangers!
No make up for my candid summer style photos!
In the first photo I am only wearing a tinted lip moisturizer with SPF. I use this product everyday , actually, and my lips feel hydrated and soft as a result.
Certainly I understand this is not a serious and professional post. This is fine by me. While I am a diligent person, I do try to keep my mind on what is good and light, even where terrible things are happening . I hope that practicing random acts of kindness tips the scales a bit in this frantic world.
Tell me, dear readers, how do you cope in difficult times? If you are a blogger do you ever post candids on your posts?
I truly hope you are enjoying this season. I am sending genuine warmth from New York and wishing you all joy and light!
