I wear a wavy rainbow sweater as I nod to Autumn’s crisp, cool mornings!
Weather shift gears with alarming velocity these days. Last week I posted from a verdant green vineyard with temps hovering in a sunny summer zone, and now I wake up to temps in the low forties. Burr! Still, the sun is out and greets me hello, even as I shiver a bit in response.
I should be feeling groovy, but honestly I just wish I had remembered my down jacket in East Hampton ! When I bought this roomy sweater I instantly thought of my friend Natalias’s skirt !
My paneled jeans are from a children’s store and have the perfect amount of stretch. No need to roll the hem or wear heels, these are made for a 14-year-old girl ! I upped the vibe to sophisticated, with ebony alligator pumps and a silk Tory Burch tie in my hair. My tie is reversible and ends with a golden monogram at the bottom for weight.
The passersby were everywhere this sunny day, so I seem to be standing awkwardly, as I waited patiently for a narrow window of time and a clear shot, without getting a small crowd in the frame! I like the bright wavy rainbow sweater as it pops agains the black marble.
My pink bag, studded with faux turquoise and carnelian stones, is from a small and local chain of stores called Foxes. Later in the day, I took a couple of snaps, just scenes from the neighborhood.
Below a stripe pattern inset into the townhouse photo behind me. I love to see flowers still in bloom although I wonder about them tonight with a frost warming.
Two artfully placed bikes below; a picturesque little snippet.
Inset here is a visual diary of the some of my outfit components.
Wave hello , as Autumn is surely here!
I hope your Fall season is off to a wonderful start!
