The best white summer dress is one that is comfortable and chic. My favorite is this lace number from LuckyBrand. The length is knee grazing, and it can be worn without a bra, since it is lined ! I am an enthusiastic fan of the off the shoulder look for summer.
Yes, in this dress I am feeling Happy and Lucky. Gratitude is a common emotion for me! The perfect dress boosts confidence !
Lace is beautiful when it is well made, as is the case with this summer frock. Every shoe, and all of my bags look perfect with it, and that is when you know you have found the best white summer dress!
Abundant sunshine was truly welcomed the day of this photoshoot. So my smiles are genuine, as is my need for my CHANEL sunglasses! You have seen my straw hat often recently, it is my favorite as the brim is wide enough to protect my face from harsh sun rays, but not so large that is obscures my vision ! Tip: do not wear a wide brimmed hat, like the one pictured here, on a crowded Manhattan street!
I added bakelite earrings purchased from a local mom and pop shop, as you know I love to shop small. Blue is my favorite color, and reminds me of the ocean ! You might remember this bag from my recent round bag post. I love the pom pom detail and the perfect, roomy size. I am headed to East Hampton for the weekend, so this bag will be perfect for any activity there. Even the beach, weather permitting !
On the street, my summer ready dress looks beach ready and crisp. Further, it is a nice blend of ladylike style with a playful edge.
I always love to see an outfit worn in a different location, which adds another perspective . Below, the touch of yellow reminds me of the sunny days ahead, and the very one I am enjoying today!
Do you have a favorite summer dress? Mine is sold out unfortunately , but LuckyBrand has a striped option that is off the shoulder and perfect for a summer vacay. The bag is still available ! It is so light and roomy, but not so big that you lose your sunglasses and wallet!
I am so glad a PR company reached out to me for collaboration. Since there are no lucky Brand stores on the Upper East Side, I went to the West side of Manhattan and remembered why I loved shopping here when I lived in suburban New York. The quality is excellent and the styles are on-point without being too trendy. Their denim well made, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. You will see another look from this brand soon. They have a lot more than just denim, too, as you can see. . My husband also loves to shop here!
With the “Amazonification” – my own term, as far as I know- of the shopping landscape, even well established, mid-size brands are under attack from the Fast Fashion world, with copying being done on a massive scale. Support the brands you love, whichever they are, and go out to their brick and mortar stores when possible. ( save a box, save a tree!)
HAPPY TIDBIT: LUCKY BRAND ALSO HAS GREAT SALES!
Also remember to shop your closet: the best white summer dress may well be tucked inside!
