Brightening your Tuesday with a jewelry feature: it is my pleasure to introduce you to Catherine Marion- designer, goldsmith, and founder of Jemily Fine Jewelry.
Catherine Marion used to be a very successful corporate finance attorney. She made an inspired decision to change careers and pursue her passion for jewelry and design. Her work is quite popular in certain Manhattan circles ( read: exclusive but not pretentious) where her pieces are prized for their outstanding design and wearability.
Below, one of my favorite pieces, a tanzanite necklace in the IDRISSA collection. This piece is substantial! The stone is the perfect and highly sought after shade of violet-blue, and the metals are mixed- satin and bright- one of my favorite features in any jewelry piece. Below, a photo I took at a recent preview of the Holiday 2017 collection .
Below a shot of Catherine Marion and real estate mogul Jane Pontarelli from the preview party! I love Jane’s pink hair highlights!
Below Catherine wearing a necklace named after her daughter !
More from the collection !
How stunning is this IDRISSA ring- top left- with is architectural lines and fabulous sapphire cabochon center, accented by bight diamonds! The bracelets, from the same collection, are worn in a pair by a mutual friend, and they are stunning! These are the kind of quality pieces that can be worn everyday. They are luxurious, but accessibly priced, and not something you will see on everyone.
Some serious stones waiting to be set for bespoke jewelry. A shot from the preview. Below tourmalines and rubellite of the highest quality.
Below, more from the IDRISSA collection .
Now some really good news! Jemily is having a 20% off sale on all finished jewelry though January 2. Her location is 66 West 47th, Booth 7-A. You can also view her magnificent pieces online .
This is a non sponsored post. I love to share special places to shop and highlight talented artisans. I do believe that these are the kind of jewelry pieces to invest in and wear everyday.
Below, a shot of me taken on the fly, and on the way to the Preview Party. A separate post will follow on this look.
Wow, beautiful pieces! I think I like your own favorite necklace the best. Thanks for linking up, xo
